Episode 30: Like Ed

Today's very short piece is Like Ed. Enjoy!

The intro for this episode was generously provided by Walt, who gave an outstanding performance. Thank's Walt!

Also, I announce the winner of the REVELATIONS Give-away in this episode. I'm not announcing who it is here, because I don't want to kill the anticipation. Or maybe I'm just an A-hole. Either way, thank you to everyone who was kind enough to post how you found CLMW. You guys went above and beyond!

As always, you can let me know what you thought about this or any of the other episodes by leaving a comment below or emailing me. I'll talk to you in a couple of weeks.

Well Peter, I hope you enjoy reading the copy of the book which I had already opened a space for on my shelves...harrumph....actually congratulations!

However, I will not be denied so I just went to LuLu and ordered a print copy of my own and I will forge Russell's signature and write a brilliant dedication to myself!

Congratulations to Peter. You're the lucky winner.
Being a geek also (I've been roleplaying almost every friday for the past 16 years, Cthulhu and Warhmammer mostly, and constantly affraid of running out of material) I was wondering if Russel would like to share with us some of his own Cthulhu adventures. By the way, the best campaign I gamemastered in all these years was, of course, the unforgetable "Horror on the Orient Express". Nowadays they just don't make it like that any more.

Al, be sure to tell yourself what a great listener you are to have in your dedication. You're the best man!

Antonio, my fellow nerd, I can give you two adventure hooks you're probably already familiar with. I have run the premises behind "Casey's Sacrifice" and "Companion" as Call of Cthulhu games before. Of course, they played out nothing like the actual stories, but they worked pretty well.

Is it wrong that this story made me laugh? Not in a make fun of you way, of course. You know I love your writing Russell. Come to think of it...a lot of your stories have that underlining dark humor to them. Okay, I feel better about myself.

I loved the inner voice of Ed. I was wiping down the table...alone in the house when I first heard it. Freaked me out for a second...then I loved it.

You did exactly what I told a writing friend of mine what he shoulda done with his werewolf...eat the friends. Woohoo for friendship and loyalty out the window!!!

Just a quick note about Laieanna's show (above). I really recommend that you all check out her Halloween story. It is outstanding, and should be right up CLMW listeners' alley.

Wonderful story! Even if the second backround voice (the one of the werewolf) did creep me out a little.
Will be looking forward to the next episode, and hopefully maybe a lycan story some time again.
