Epsiode 45: Your Mistake
The intro poem today was performed, and I mean performed, by Walt Kolenda of AuctionWally.com. Walt has been a huge supporter of CLMW, and I can't thank him enough. But I'll keep trying. THANK YOU, WALT!
Finally, if you heard the outro to today's show then you'll know that I invited you to chime in through the comments section below as to what type of story you would like to hear in the next episode of CLMW. Maybe a ghost story? Something Lovecraft-ish? Chris and Tommy? Mutants? Psychopaths? Lions, and tiger, and bears, oh my? PLEASE let me know what you'd like me to write about next! The show is in your hands.

Enjoyed "Your Mistake" a lot. I don't know if this helps you but I love any type story with a surprise ending - the bigger the surprise, the better.
Thank you very much for everything.
Gary
The story was awesome and write a psychopath one next! Stick tommy and chris with a psycho killer! That would be awesome!

I Loved this story! Thank you for sharing your stories with us. =)
I second the Chris and Tommy story with a psycho..that would be great! I'm also a sucker for ghost stories..with things moving seemingly by themselves, doors opening, closing..the classic haunted house story! Those always gave me chills as a kid..and still do (of course i spook easy)
oooh, i think it should be a ghost story. no, a psychopath story. how about a story about the ghost of a psychopath?
jody
OOooh! I like the idea of a psychopathic ghost!
Love all of your stories! Keep up the good work.
MORE ZOMBIES!!!!!
How about a good old fashioned Haunted House in the Neighborhood type of story. I'm a sucker for those. You know, where the neighborhood kids take a dare to camp in a house that according to an urban myth is haunted.
Keep up the great work, I really appreciate your stories!
Enjoyed your story. I would like to hear something similar like "Windows". Everytime I listen to it, it gives me the chills! And maybe incorporate Chris and Tommy in it for comic relief.
I totally vote for Chris and Tommy!!!!
How 'bout you draw off my personal experience and have T & C go to the freakin dentist. There is NOTHING, not even houses haunted by psychopathic ghosts, that is more frightening than a root canal. *sigh*
loved the story as always!!!
I know lots of people want Chris and tommy but I would like to know what Casey was upto these days I bet she can find a few scary things in her books
Congratulations, Russel, for the ending of this story left me surprised and speechless, as usual.
Personally, I much prefer Lovecraftian type stories - and I would include "My Mistake" in that category.
However, I simply can't resist some refreshing Chris and Tommy stories.
Can we add some suggestions, Russel? Who knows, sometimes we just may have an interesting idea for a story...
Sincerely
Benny
By the way, Benny is my nick...

I second Casey. I would like to know what she's up to these days anyway.
If I can't get that, a Christ and Tommy story would do well.
Plus, we can mix two of the previous suggestions with that as well. Although, saying that Dentists are psychopaths is a bit redundant.
More Chris and Tommy would be nice, also, a good menni series like Casie's Sacrifise, oer at least a two parter would be nice.
The masses have spoken, laddy. It's time for C and T to meet Casey.
My vote's for an occult love story with a twist. My favorite story thus far is still "Wedding Vows."

I love every type of horror, but the thing I keep thinking about right now, that really terrifies me, are stories with living, psychopathic murderers. I don't know if that is something that you want to get into, but the reason these stories are so scary is that it seems like it could possibly happen to you. Even stories that blur the line between realism and supernatural in dealing with the villain fits into this as a broader category. I hope this is helpful to you; I love your stories.
How about a unique encounter with an alien? Something besides the usual sci-fi fare. Something twisted and horrible.
I really enjoyed this story but have to admit that I do not care much for 2nd person because they seem to keep trying to tell me what I think. I know it is just a way of telling a story, but that POV really irks me.
You did great with it, however, and I enjoyed the twist at the end of this tale.
Oh, and thanks for letting us suggest what types of stories you should write.
It is a little late, but I vote strongly for Chris and Tommy (no big surprise as I posted a comment on "The Hole" but I also really like good old fashioned haunted house type stories as well.
Can't wait to hear more!
