Part 1 of Casey's Sacrifice is now available. This story is way too long to include as one episode, so I've decided to serialize it over (probably) four episodes. I hope you enjoy, and thanks for listening.
Stories of the Macabre by Russell L Burt
Come, let me whisper, words that no man should speak aloud
Their rightful place a page, to be torn from its source
Shredded from existence, At least hidden from light
That only a darker man may read, For flighty society
defines no place, Save that of closets with locks
Clubs without signs, And, of course, their minds

This is a general comment from someone who listens too your stories via podiobooks. I realy liked the twist with typewriter. It was very funny.
I finally got caught up and listened to every show, I tried to take a moment and choose a story to tell you which was my favorite, but looking over the titles (which only made me want to go back and listen to each one again) I really couldn't pick just one.
But more on topic, Casey's Sacrifice has a really strong and interesting start and I can't wait to hear the rest. I don't know how you still feel about the idea of serializing Revelations, but I for one would LOVE it. That might sound kind of premature/crazy considering I have no knowlede of the plot or anything, but after hearing everything that's already available, I can't see myself being let down by it. How about in a future show you give us a little taste of Revelations, even if it's just a brief synopsis. Anyway, thanks for the great stories, I'll be checking itunes daily awaiting pt 2. p.s. The new intro music is really really nice.
I've listened to the very beginning of the episode so far because I've had a crazy week. I like the new reading of the poem. I can't say I'm big on the canned guitars, but that's just me. CLMW seems like more of a piano thing to me.
I'll have comments on the story after I listen to it, I reckon. Also, unlike the poster before me, I have managed to choose a favorite. I love love love wedding vows. Nothing quite like a man sacrificing his love and his religion. Everything else is a very close second though. :-)

ok i'm gonna pick a favorite....
Like dolls on strings.. what I love most about it is the originality, I've never heard anyhting remotely similar before..oh and the gruesome dying fairy descriptions ;)
I have returned. My appetite is definitely whetted. If your long-form stories are even a third as good as your short stories this is gonna be a lot of fun. :-)
