Episode 1 : Work Ethic
"Work Ethic" is a very short story (under 10 minutes) that leans toward the psychological side of horror.

Stories of the Macabre by Russell L Burt
Come, let me whisper, words that no man should speak aloud
Their rightful place a page, to be torn from its source
Shredded from existence, At least hidden from light
That only a darker man may read, For flighty society
defines no place, Save that of closets with locks
Clubs without signs, And, of course, their minds

Russell,
I just listened to the first episode of "Come, Let me Whisper". I really enjoyed it, keep up the good work!
Great story! anxious to hear the others.
Just listened to your first tale, Work Ethic. Excellent, kept my attention, and 'well spoken'. I subscribed to your feed through Podiobooks and just made a donation.
I guess I should be ashame of myself, but I loved this story! I can't wait to hear more.
just found you a day or two ago on podiobooks and started listening last night on my way home from work.
Sat in the car to finish listening... (I don't live far from work so the story hadn't finished)
Kept my attention and the ending... still has me thinking of different possibilities of what could be worse than killing babies.
Thanks so much for sharing
Excellent story. You have made a listener of me.
I was somewhat hesitant to subscribe to your podcast, not because I didn't want to give you my time, but because I was looking more for novels to listen to instead of shorts. Emphasis on WAS, because as soon as I downloaded this episode just to see if I'd like your work, I went and subscribed to the entire podcast! This episode is AWESOME! What ELSE would the anti-christ do but hone his "craft" out of necessity because all his other efforts failed??? LOL!
Don't EVER stop writing! If I like the rest of the podcast episodes, I'll not only buy your book, I'll also force all my friends and family to buy it, too! LOL!
Thank you for writing and thank you for making your work available in podcast form. And thank you in advance for accepting my Myspace friends request, assuming you do.
Be well!!!
